Standard Shipping – FREE over $150
At Heading Out Hair & Beauty, we’re thrilled to offer FREE Standard Shipping Australia-wide on all orders over $150.
For orders under $150, a flat shipping fee of $15 applies (for standard shipping).
Orders are dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria, with standard delivery generally taking 2–6 business days from dispatch.
Express Shipping – Need it sooner?
Can’t wait for your Heading Out favourites to arrive? Choose Express Shipping at checkout for a flat fee of $20.
We’ll always aim to dispatch Express orders as quickly as possible, with same-day dispatch where possible.
Express delivery generally takes 1–3 business days from dispatch via Australia Post. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by delays outside our control.
Important: Some products classified as dangerous goods, including aerosols and certain hair colour products, cannot be sent via Express Post. If your order contains an item that is not eligible for Express Post, Standard Shipping will apply.
International Orders
At this stage, our online store ships within Australia only. We’re currently unable to process international orders.
Order Issues & Support
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please keep the product and its original packaging and take clear photos showing the damage.
Email the photos, along with your order number, to hello@headingout.com.au and our team will look into it for you as quickly as possible.
Missing Items
If something is missing from your order, please send us a photo of the items you received inside the original packaging, along with your order number.
Email hello@headingout.com.au and our team will investigate and arrange any missing items as required.
Tracking Says Delivered, But I Don’t Have It
If your tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you can’t locate it, please first check around your property and with other household members or neighbours.

PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers
Yes, we can deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers—unless your order contains dangerous goods.
If your order includes items like aerosols, we’ll contact you for an alternative street address.
Tracking & Dispatch
Orders are generally processed within 2 business days and dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria via Australia Post.
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details so you can follow its journey.
Please keep in mind that delivery timeframes are estimates. While we’ll always do everything we can to assist, Heading Out Hair & Beauty cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or other circumstances outside our control.
Why hasn’t my tracking updated yet?
Sometimes tracking information can take a little while to update, particularly while your parcel is travelling between Australia Post facilities.
